Press-on caps may not have threads, but they still need to arrive in the correct orientation and position. Skirt design, hinge position, tamper features and cap balance all affect feeding.
The feeder route can include a bowl, sorter, chute or placement point depending on whether the press cap needs to be orientated, nested or presented open-side down.
Bottle support is also important because press force can disturb unstable containers if the line is not controlled.
