Start with the closure, the capper and the daily production pattern.
A cap feeder buying guide should start with the real closure. Caps that look similar from a basic photo or datasheet can behave differently in a bowl, chute or elevator because of small differences in weight, ribs, liner, skirt depth and balance.
Next, confirm how the capper wants to receive the cap. A chuck capper, spindle capper, press-on system, pump capper and ROPP capper can require different presentation. The feeder must be selected around that handover.
Finally, compare the daily production pattern. Multi-SKU production, cleaning needs, operator access and line integration can matter as much as maximum speed.
