Rotary capping demands consistent supply and timing.
Rotary cappers can place high demand on the cap feeding route. The feeder must keep up with the machine without creating excess pressure, wrong-way caps or uncontrolled flow at the pick-up point.
The correct system may include bulk hoppers, cap elevators, sorters, bowl feeders or dedicated transfer tooling. Cap orientation and queue stability are important because a rotary capper can quickly expose inconsistencies.
Specification should be based on cap samples, target output, capper layout and available space around the infeed and guarding.
