Is a crown cap feeder the same as a screw-cap feeder?

No. A crown cap feeder can use similar principles of bulk storage, separation and orientation, but the closure geometry and capper handover are different. The open skirt, liner and metal shell make the accepted outlet condition and handling contact points especially important.
