How does a cap move from the feeder into the capper?
The cap normally leaves the orientation stage in a defined attitude and travels through a supported track or chute to a release, pick or placement point. Gravity, vibration, belt movement, controlled escapement or an active mechanism may provide the final motion, depending on the line.
The project drawing should identify every change of support or control because those transition points are common places for a cap to rotate, overlap or stall.

A gravity chute is suitable when the cap can remain stable between guides, move under its own weight through the available route and reach the capper in a controlled queue without turning, wedging or marking. The required slope and clearance are cap-specific.
The trial should include full and low queue conditions, stops and restart. A chute that works with a few hand-loaded caps is not yet proven for the pressure and variation of production feeding.

An escapement or pick point is useful when the downstream machine must receive exactly one closure at a known position and time rather than accept a continuous queue. It can isolate the capper cycle from the upstream track and provide a presence-check position.
The device still needs a stable incoming queue, a defined action after a missed cap and safe access for recovery. Its timing and sensor logic should be tested with the actual capper sequence.

A correctly presented cap can still be missed, cocked or displaced if the bottle moves, tilts or arrives inconsistently at the handover. The container guides, spacing device, starwheel or support system must hold the neck in the position expected by the cap release or placement mechanism.
Test the real bottle in the expected filled or empty condition because weight, shape and product state can change stability. The feeder and bottle-handling scope should be accepted together.
